De Paul International Residential School, Mysore conducted a two-day dental camp for students from Grades KG–VIII, promoting awareness about oral hygiene, dental care, and the importance of maintaining a healthy smile from an early age.
The programme was organised in association with Dental Concepts Family Dentistry, a unit of Anoushka Healthcare, with the support and guidance of Dr Anita Nitin.
The dental camp commenced on June 16, 2026, providing students with an opportunity to learn more about oral health and the importance of regular dental care. The programme focused on encouraging children to develop healthy dental habits and understand the role of proper oral hygiene in their overall well-being.
Dental Health Awareness for Students
Students from KG to Grade VIII participated in the programme. The dental camp provided an age-appropriate platform for students to become more aware of the importance of brushing correctly, maintaining oral hygiene, caring for their teeth and gums, and seeking professional dental guidance when required.
Dental health is an important part of a child’s overall well-being. Early awareness and regular dental care can help children develop positive oral-health habits that can continue into adulthood.
The programme also complemented the health-care facilities and student-wellness initiatives at De Paul International Residential School, Mysore, which has a dedicated dental clinic as part of its campus health-care facilities.
